1. Step 1: Open LexGraph at lexgraph.de and click “Profile” in the top-right corner.
2. Step 2: Scroll down to “MCP Connection”, then copy the “MCP URL”.
3. Step 3: Open ChatGPT and click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner.
4. Step 4: Open “Settings” in the left sidebar.
5. Step 5: Open “Security and Sign-in”.
6. Step 6: Scroll down to Developer mode and enable it.
7. Step 7: This is what it looks like when it is enabled.
8. Step 8: Close Settings and click “Plugins” in the top-left corner.
9. Step 9: Click the plus icon to add a new plugin.
10. Step 10: Configure the MCP server.
11. Step 11: Paste the link you copied under “Connection”.
12. Step 12: Give the plugin a name. We use LexGraph.
13. Step 13: Accept the terms of use.
14. Step 14: Optionally, add an icon and description. You can download our icon here.
15. Step 15: Click “Sign in with LexGraph”.
16. Step 16: Click “Connect LexGraph”.
17. Step 17: You will then be redirected to this page. Occasionally, OpenAI incorrectly displays an error message here. You can still use the MCP server in the chat.
18. Step 18: Open a new chat and type @LexGraph to use the plugin.
